Position Overview: Chuck Salvo is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and administration of AAMA, ensuring the organization runs efficiently and effectively. He also leads the development of AAMA's membership, creating a strong culture focused on delivering an exceptional member experience and fostering organizational success.

Job Summary: CSO - Director of Business Strategy, Finance, Technology, Innovation

Position: The role of a Director of Business Strategy in an AAMA involves leading the

formulation and execution of comprehensive strategies aimed at advancing the mission of the

association within the rapidly evolving landscape of AAM, while also managing stakeholder

relationships and ensuring alignment with the organizations business model.

 Drawing upon his deep experience with the legislative process, Tom's practice includes the development and execution of Legislative and Executive Branch strategies involving issues critical to domestic and foreign interests. His practice also includes advising corporations on complying with the vast array of laws that regulate the interaction of lobbyists with state and federal government officials.  Throughout his career, he has spent a considerable amount of time involved in the aerospace industry, representing manufacturers and  operators in the commercial and defense sectors.

Additionally, Tom counsels trade associations and other tax-exempt organizations on compliance with the regulations controlling their legislative and political activities.

Job Summary: General Council , Community Advocacy and Engagement 

Position: The Director of Community Affairs and Engagement at AAMA is a key advocate for the organization, responsible for building strong relationships with government entities, community leaders, and industry stakeholders.  Advancing AAMA's mission to accelerate the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) industry and promote its benefits to communities. 

Chris is an experienced leader, mobility researcher, and aviation consultant with more than 20 years of experience in the aviation industry. His primary background is in aviation operations and airports with a focus on emerging aviation technologies, policy development, and airport and environmental planning. He is a recognized subject matter expert in these fields and his expertise in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), and Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) has resulted in multiple engagements with the FAA, NASA, State & Local clients and multiple airports in the U.S. to support integration efforts. He has an extensive network and strategic partnerships with industry and has leveraged these relationships to plan and host successful workshops, stakeholder engagement roundtables, and conferences related to the future of aviation. 

Chris also holds positions as: U.S. Liaison for AAM Institute, Aviation Consultant and AAM Research Advisor, Adjunct  Professor AAM at Florida Institute of Technology and Co-Host of the No U-Turn Podcast.  

 Louise Bristow is an emerging technology and mobility brand strategy and communications expert and currently serves as Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Mountain View-based autonomous trucking company Gatik. Prior to joining Gatik, she served as Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Archer Aviation for three years, taking the brand from an unknown start up through a $2.7bn IPO to cement the company’s leadership position in the eVTOL sector. During her tenure at Archer, Louise was named in the inaugural edition of eVTOL Insights’ ‘Women in eVTOL’ report. Louise spent her career prior to joining Archer in the automotive industry, leading global marketing and communications teams at Tesla, McLaren, BMW and Karma Automotive and launching iconic products including the McLaren P1, McLaren MP4-12C, Model X, Model 3 and the Karma Revero. She currently serves as an advisor to Long Beach-based Odys Aviation and is an advisory board member for the University of California Santa Barbara Customer Experience Certificate Program 

 Bringing 20 years of strategic creative leadership, award-winning design, and mentorship across multiple disciplines, I help public and private organizations across the globe, their teams, and students, to design innovative methods that tackle complex challenges like becoming a citizen-centered city, gaining confidence about uncertain futures, or delivering impactful services and experiences.
