Responsible for Advanced Air Mobility 

Charlie Hillis has more than 30 years of aviation experience and was most recently Embraer’s head of Commercial Aviation for North America prior to joining Republic Airways in December 2021. He previously held the positions of President, Embraer Aircraft Customer Services and Regional Vice President of Sales at Embraer.

Early in his career, Charlie also worked in the marketing departments of both McDonnell Douglas and Bombardier. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and was an Army officer before moving into the aviation industry.

 Former President & CEO at Space Florida Frank DiBello, a visionary leader in the aerospace industry. With a wealth of experience, he has played a pivotal role in advancing Florida's position as a premier hub for space exploration and innovation. DiBello's strategic insights and dedication to fostering partnerships have contributed significantly to the state's prominence in the global space arena.  His  experience and dynamic leadership in implementing visionary ideas will help us launch this new industry.   

Former FAA Associate Administrator for Aviation Safety 

 42+ years of experience managing strategies and operations within the aviation industry.

 Acquired a vast industry knowledge and successfully collaborated on and harmonized diverse issues with airplane manufacturers and aviation authorities worldwide. Demonstrated leadership in developing and implementing national policies, regulations, standards, and procedures related to certification and continued operational safety of transport category airplanes and emerging technologies.

30 years of aviation experience,

Mr. Cox previously held senior

executive leadership roles at DFW International Airport, American Airlines,

Signature Aviation, Ferrovial, and EPIC Fuels. He has also served on key

industry advisory bodies, including the Federal Aviation Administration’s

Advisory Committee on Advanced Air Mobility and the Governor of Texas’s

Aerospace and Aviation Advisory Committee.

Group Co-Leader, Government Advocacy & Public Policy at King & Spalding 

Drawing upon his deep experience with the legislative process, Tom's practice includes the development and execution of Legislative and Executive Branch strategies involving issues critical to domestic and foreign interests. His practice also includes advising corporations on complying with the vast array of laws that regulate the interaction of lobbyists with state and federal government officials.  Throughout his career, he has spent a considerable amount of time involved in the aerospace industry, representing manufacturers and  operators in the commercial and defense sectors.

Additionally, Tom counsels trade associations and other tax-exempt organizations on compliance with the regulations controlling their legislative and political activities.
